 The Polo is now more sporty looking, thanks to the introduction of the Polo R Line, which builds on the impressive specification of the Polo Match to create an even more stylish and well-equipped supermini.
From the outside, the new model can be distinguished by its distinctive styling pack, consisting of R Line front and rear bumpers, radiator grille and side sills, and 16-inch Mallory alloys.
Inside, there are sports seats with Kyalami cloth upholstery and an R Line logo on the headrests, along with a leather-trimmed, three-spoke steering wheel with the R Line logo.
Customers can order three- or five-door versions of the Polo R Line and both have our 1.2 litre 105 PS TSI engine. The powerplant delivers both economy and performance, with fuel consumption on the combined cycle of 53.3 mpg and a 0-62 mph time of less than 10 seconds. Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions will be 124g/km.

 The Golf Cabriolet GTI is the most powerful production Golf Cabriolet ever produced.
The new model can be distinguished by its distinctive styling pack, made up of sporty front and rear bumpers, GTI honeycomb radiator grille and air inlets, chrome exhaust pipes (left and right) and 18-inch Monza Shadow alloys. It can also be ordered in GTI-exclusive Tornado Red.
Inside, there are sports seats with Jacara cloth upholstery, a leather-trimmed hand brake and a GTI-badged, leather-trimmed three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with red stitching.
Golf Cabriolet GTI, with the 2.0 litre 210 PS TSI engine can be ordered with a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch DSG gearbox. With a top speed of 147 mph (146 mph for the DSG), the fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 37.2 mpg (36.7 mpg for the DSG) with a 0-62 mph time of 7.3 seconds. Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions will be 177g/km (180g/km for the DSG).
The insurance rating for the new Golf Cabriolet GTI is 35E.

 The first pictures of the five-door up!, which offers greater choice to city-car customers looking for a practical small car that fits four people – not forgetting the up!’s class leading 251-litre boot space. The five door models will be available later this year.
Rear passengers in the five-door up! benefit from exactly the same space as those in the three-door model, with 947 mm of headroom (versus 993 mm in the front) and 789 mm of legroom. The new Volkswagen up! might come with a five-star Euro NCAP test rating and the kind of interior space that would shame many a car in the class above, but when it comes to insurance it’s as small as its 3,540 mm long body, with a class-leading 1E group rating.
It’s not just the entry-level £7,995 1.0-litre 60 PS Take up! that qualifies for the lowest group, either: the £8,970 Move up! and £9,330 Move up! with BlueMotion Technology are also in group 1E.
Even if customers opt for the top-specification £10,390 1.0-litre 70 PS High up! or special edition £11,180 up! White and up! Black models, they will still find that the up! is three groups below the average for the class, with its group 2E insurance helping to keep ongoing motoring costs as low as possible.

As well as ultra-high and super-high strength steels being used in the vehicle’s construction, all up! models come with ABS with hydraulic brake assist, driver and front passenger airbags, side and thorax/head airbags for front-seat occupants and ISOFIX fittings in the rear.
